Shakeela, the Mallu actress, announced that she would marry her Chennai based Industrialist lover in the coming June, 2010. She met the press at Nachiyarpuram shooting spot on Wednesday and formally announced her marriage proposal with her lover.

"I have been completed almost 200 film in all south Indian languages. Very recently I lost my mother who was the backbone for me for years. Now I feel very lonely and unsafe.

So I decided to marry my long time lover, one of the bog shots in the city. Our relationship is going strong and we will marry in June 2010. I will reveal more details after getting his permission," says the actress.

Denying reports that Mammootty and Mohanlal were the reasons behind her exit from Malayalam cinema, Shakeela says, "It was a wrong information spread by some unwanted sources. My season in Malluwood was over. And hence I have changed my nature of roles too.."

The six-months pregnant Bachchan bahu will be seen as a glowing to-be-mommy in a soap commercial

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has been trying to stay out of the public eye and seems to have put all her professional commitments on the back burner, isn’t shying away from sporting her bump any more. The six-months pregnant actor was photographed during the shoot for a soap commercial (which we are told was a prior commitment) in Bangkok recently. We hear that Ash was glowing and was completely comfortable shooting with her swollen tummy. And after finishing off her commitments the yummy mummy in the making has taken off to London with hubby Abhishek to shop for the baby. We bet the infant is going to be the best dressed in town!

Maria Susairaj has sent a legal notice to Ram Gopal Varma stating that unless RGV shows her his film ‘Not a Love Story’, she will apply for a stay-order on the film in Court.

‘Not A Love Story’ is inspired by Neeraj Grover Murder case in which Maria was involved with her fiancée Jerome. Later Maria got acquitted and now she wants to make sure that she has not been shown in bad light in the film. She has also sent a notice to the Censor Board as well.

However RGV is firm that he is not going to show her the film. He says, "I will not show my film to Maria as I have repeatedly said that my film is just inspired by the incident and not completely based on her. There are so many differences in the film from the real life incident. My heroine is not a south Indian actress and her fiancee is not in Navy as in real case. Also, the film is just an interpretation of what could have happened and not a reporting on what actually happened. No one was there to know what the reality is. This is not her story and I am not showing the film to her"

The film has been mired in controversy in the recent times. Earlier Ram Gopal Varma had lodged a complaint against the BJP Yuva Morcha for protesting his office. The protest was triggered by Varma’s announcement about casting Maria Susairaj. Following the protest, Varma lodged a complaint after he received a warning letter from the Bharatiya Janata Party threatening him against his decision to cast Susairaj.

RGV’s police complaint

Ram Gopal Varma has lodged a complaint with the Versova Police on Tuesday afternoon against the BJP Yuva Morcha. On Tuesday, twenty members of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) were detained by the Oshiwara police for protesting outside filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's office in Andheri west. The protest was triggered by Varma’s announcement about casting Maria Susairaj, who has been recently convicted in the Neeraj Grover murder case, in his upcoming film ‘Not a Love Story’. Following the protest, Varma lodged a complaint after he received a warning letter from the Bharatiya Janata Party threatening him against his decision to cast Susairaj.

When contacted, RGV said, “My intention behind whatever I said is that if someone has been convicted and has served a given sentence, she has a right to start her life afresh and be a part of civilized society. Maria is not my sister or my girlfriend and I don’t even know her. So, it is not about supporting her but it is about standing up for the constitutional rights.” He further argued that even after court gave its judgment, the least informed people are raising so much noise; it comes under contempt of court.  “Public opinion is fine but isn’t there a difference between opinion and an informed opinion? And who can be more informed than the judge? And if the people feel that the investigating team and the judge are wrong why are they only singling out Maria. For all I know Maria can be a killer or maybe even a serial killer but shouldn’t there be an accepted way by means of appropriate bodies like the judiciary to find that out in a civil society?,” he added.

Hindi film directors are known for quirky stunts to get their cast in sync with the story of the film and get under the skin of their characters. And while traditional workshops and exercises before the shoot begins are swiftly becoming passé, ‘Mausam’ director, Pankaj Kapoor made his lead pair, Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, go through a unique exercise to better understand their character in the film.

Pankaj Kapoor wanted Shahid and Sonam to stop using the phone, SMS or any similar short format for communication. Instead, he wanted them to write handwritten letters to communicate for two months before they started shooting with each other. Initially they hated it since it seemed tedious and time consuming. Today’s generation is mostly comfortable with SMS as a mode of communication, but that restricts one to just 140 characters but actually writing a note didn’t have any restriction but was cumbersome.

But both didn’t know how to write and protested against this exercise. But Pankaj Kapoor was adamant and actually said that he will not start shooting until this exercise was completed.

While the initial notes written by Shahid and Sonam to each other were pathetically brief and had director Pankaj Kapoor fuming and baffled, eventually the two began really putting their thoughts down on paper. Infact Shahid and Sonam got so used to this exercise that they continue to write letters to each other even today, after the film has been completed.

Talking about his theatrical style of filmmaking, Pankaj Kapoor says, “I belong to different school of acting. Everything that my actors do, has to be contextual. I made Shahid and Sonam go through this extensive exercise so that they could start feeling like the characters they play. It took some time, as first we need to break inhibitions, then develop new habits and then fall in love.”

The Kim Kardashian Wedding Invitation

You may have seen the invitation, but, sorry folks, none of you are invited to Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' August 20 wedding ceremony.
However, the entire viewing world is welcome to tune in a couple months later and watch every detail unfold on Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, the two-night program that will air on E! on October 9 and 10.
Seriously, even this reality star's specials have boring titles.
Kris, Kim
Earlier this week, Kardashian announced that Vera Wang would be designing her dress, blogging:
"Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years. So when it came to picking my wedding dress designer, she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does!"
And no one exploits the ignorance of young fans or the concept of love like Kim does. It's a perfect match!

One thing has been made clear on Keeping Up with the Kardashians this season: Kris Jenner is a controlling, whining attention hog with a bladder problem.
She also enjoys butting into her children's personal lives, making her opinion clear on the state of their relationships and their uteruses. She admitted as much to Us Weekly yesterday.
"I would love more grandchildren," Kris said. "Mason is the love of our lives, and he is so much fun, but there's only one Mason to go around. It would be nice if we had some more."

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom might have a child one of these days, but the former appears to enjoy talking about the possibility more than actually going through with it. Still, the outcome is in God's hands, not in her private parts.
"I would love all of my children to experience having children on their own," Kris says. "I think going through that process of being pregnant and giving birth, everybody should, if you can and you're blessed."
Seriously, kids. Mommy needs another set of newborn photos to sell to the tabloids.

New Delhi, July 27 (ANI):Controversial Bollywood actress and TV personality Rakhi Sawant expressed her willingness to marry Yoga guru Baba Ramdev. While addressing mediapersons on the sidelines of a promotional event in New Delhi, Sawant spoke of how she also admired Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi. The Drama queen admitted that Ramdev's yoga sessions have made an impact on her life.

Known to be in limelight for all wrong reasons and numerous controversial acts,  she has always been in the news for her raunchy videos to her controversial stay on 'Bigg Boss', or walking out of 'Nach Baliye' finale in a huff and leaving Salman Khan high and dry.

If this was not enough to satiate her hunger for publicity, she hit headlines for her infamous romance with commoner Abhishek Awasthi, followed by a kissing episode with singer Mika. Her 'Rakhi Ka Swayamvar' on NDTV Imagine opened a pandora's box that not only entertained people but also had the gossip columns buzzing for months.

All this helped her in paving way to one of Bollywood's most sophisticated filmmakers Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan'.

For the last one year Rakhi has been constantly courting controversy for her non-stop bloopers and blunders on the reality show 'Raki Ka Insaaf'. If one tries to list her bunglings on the small screen, it would be difficult to pen all as she has been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons for more than five years. No wonder she is crowned the controversy queen.
