Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has been trying to stay out of the public eye and seems to have put all her professional commitments on the back burner, isn’t shying away from sporting her bump any more. The six-months pregnant actor was photographed during the shoot for a soap commercial (which we are told was a prior commitment) in Bangkok recently. We hear that Ash was glowing and was completely comfortable shooting with her swollen tummy. And after finishing off her commitments the yummy mummy in the making has taken off to London with hubby Abhishek to shop for the baby. We bet the infant is going to be the best dressed in town!

"The feeling has not sunk in as yet and we're still busy sharing the news. The realisation will come later, but right now, I am kind of numb and it is a big moment," Abhishek Bachchan is quoted to have said.

"Now, you know why I have been keeping out of the public eye," states Aishwarya in a tabloid quote. "Abhishek and I are super happy and it's a matter of happiness for our families and that makes all the difference."

Don't worry. The Bachchans haven't gone against the law to check the gender of the new entrant in their family. Ever since Amitabh Bachchan tweeted last night and confirmed the news of Aishwarya's pregnancy, there has been a hullabaloo about the gen-next Bachchan's arrival.                          Pregnant Aishwarya Makes First Public Appearance

Mumbai, Jun 30: Well, everything is in news ever since Big B's 'golden' tweet about Aishwarya's pregnancy. Aishwarya's fans around Mumbai were waiting for her public appearence, and finally she was seen with her husband Abhishek, but not in a big public appearence.
This was the first time she was seen after the news of her pregnancy broke, with her hubby at a special screening of X-Men: First Class at a multiplex in Mumbai.
It is reported that the former Miss World and popular Bollywood star was spotted wearing a white top and a full length yellow shrug with a blue pair of jeans.
The four-month pregnant Aishwarya is expected to deliver in November 2011.
Meanwhile, her upcoming film 'Heroine' which was announced at the Cannes Film Festival this year has been kept on hold by UTV.
Earlier reports claimed that all was not well with Madhur Bhandarkar. Sources say that he is annoyed with the possibility of having to abandon the project worth crores, thanks to Ash's pregnancy.
Not only that, Bhandarkar reportedly 'demanded' two item numbers from Ash for the film, apart from the smoking and waterfall scenes which she has refused to undertake.
Bhandarkar is also annoyed that Aishwarya did not confide in him about her pregnancy earlier, said a source.
But it seems it is Ash who is more miffed, as she is reportedly considering legal action against Bhandarkar for resorting to 'gender discrimination.'
