The friendship between Priyanka Chopra and Shahrukh Khan is no secret. In fact, there are also many rumours floating around claiming that Priyanka-Shahrukh's closeness is affecting SRK's relationship with wife Gauri Khan. Though Priyanka has been denying these allegations, Shahrukh maintains to ignore these rumours. 

However, a leading website photographer has photographed Priyanka with Shahrukh while the former was leaving SRK's office at 3 am. Priyanka was spotted entering Shahrukh's office in Khar, Mumbai at around 11 pm on Tuesday. The website quoted as saying that Piggy Chops made a discreet entry into the office. When the two were coming out of the office at 3 am, engrossed in a serious conversation, the photographer of a website clicked a picture of the two. 

Though Shahrukh and Priyanka were unaware of the snap taken, Piggy Chops chauffeur and SRK’s security personnel along with other guards tried hard to locate the photographer, but without success. 
Shahrukh and Priyanka have always maintained that they are extremely good friends. So, one wonder why the actors 'men' were so disturbed when their pictures were clicked.

India’s Glam Diva will bring together – the gorgeous and glamorous women from India, who will compete for India’s final choice of the most glamorous Diva. Backed by the expert jury and programming team and coupled with audience feedback from across the country, phase I will see a shortlist of the top 14 contenders for the coveted title.

The Channel unveiled the stunning ladies competing for the title: Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Sunidhi Chauhan, Bipasha Basu, Ekta Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Sania Mirza, Freida Pinto and Shruti Hassan.

The show has been divided into segments. First Segment will give you a peek into the minds of Divas. The Divas will be judged on the basis of their X factor, their public appearances, the brands they handle and their business sense, judging their minds. Second segment will include the attributes that make them so hot. Is it her eyes, is it her lips, her complexion, her skin, her attire, her sex appeal or is it the combination of all?... essentially evaluating the body. The third segment – after Mind and Body, will be Soul. It will be an electrifying combination of these factors that make for a winner.

India’s Glam Diva will be hosted by VJ and actor Neil Bhoopalam. Neil has already made a mark in the industry with his outstanding performance in “Shaitan” and “No one killed Jessica”.

Commenting on India’s Glam Diva, BIG CBS Networks said, "After a successful season of India's Sexiest Bachelor, we are glad to announce our second property India's Glam Diva. The show will have the most gorgeous women from the entertainment industry on one platform. These women will be judged on various factors by the viewers. The show will bring to the fore an unusual side of these women that was never known to their fans."

Voting mechanism will include sms, a special BIG CBS microsite and other social media vehicles e.g. Facebook and Twitter. The show is anticipated to garner high TRPs for the network just like India’s Sexist Bachelor.

India’s official entrant to the Miss Universe contest, Vasuki Sunkavalli returned home empty-handed having failed to make it even to the Top 16 contestants.

Although we never really expected much out of the lady who stole tweets  in order to make herself look intelligent, we have to admit that her dismal performance was a far cry from the country’s previous beauty queens that won the crown. The golden run that India saw with international beauty pageant winners like Aishwarya Rai, Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, etc. seems like a bygone era as none of India’s representatives have won any prominent titles since a decade.
While we wait for another Indian beauty to be crowned in an international contest, let us rewind and remember those ladies who did us proud at international beauty pageants.

Reita Faria

Reita Faria was the first Indian woman to ever win an international title since its inception. She was crowned Miss World in the year 1966. She however shunned the glamour world later and gave herself to medicinal practice.

Zeenat Aman

After being crowned the 2nd runners up at the Miss India contest, Zeenat Aman went on to win the Miss Asia Pacific title in 1970, again being the first Indian to do so. Post her win she joined Bollywood and totally changed the face of the Indian woman in Hindi cinema. She was considered the Original Diva of Bollywod.

Sushmita Sen

In another first for the Indian nation, Sushmita Sen brought home the most coveted crown: that of Miss Universe in the year 1994. She too joined Bollywood, where she is known for her bold and fearless instinct.

Perhaps the most famous of all Indian beauty queens is Aishwarya Rai. She won the title of Miss World the same year as Sen and there has been no looking back for her since.

Diana Hayden

Diana Hayden brought home the Miss World Title for a third time in 1997. She too joined the Hindi film industry but could not replicate the success of her seniors.

The remake ofAgneepath is a huge affair, considering every actor in the movie - especially Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt – has to live up to the benchmark created by the original. We can just imagine Karan Johar biting his otherwise well-manicured nails and thinking of innovative ways to create the much needed noise for this one. The actress, who had earlier appeared in an item number with Shah Rukh Khan in Billu is all set to sway her sexy self for an item number in Priyadarshan’s forthcoming film Tezz, starring Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and Kangna Ranaut.

If all goes well, Priyanka Chopra will be doing her first solo item number in the Ratan Jain produced venture later this year. The actress had stated in a media interview in late 2010, “I have never done one (item number), and I don’t think I will be doing one either.”

But with item numbers being the talking points in films these days, the actress seems to have changed her mind. “She will soon hear the song. Ratan Jain, the producer has spoken to her secretary and Priyanka has shown keen interest in the item song as well,” revealed a source, talking about the dance number in Tezz, which might be the actress’ first ever solo item song.

The song in question has been composed by Sajid-Wajid. A source close to the film, “Priyanka’s dance in Tezz will be as sexy as Malaika Arora Khan’s Munni act in Dabangg and Katrina Kaif’s Sheila in Tees Maar Khan.”

At this point nothing is more important than Aishwarya’s well being and good health. In that context, we have all mutually agreed that the best step would be to avoid shooting further, rather than proceeding with an incredibly demanding schedule over the coming months. Even as we will truly miss this opportunity to work with Aishwarya, the entire unit wishes her the very best for the exciting time ahead, as she and Abhishek move into this special new phase in their lives.”

Rubbishing the rumors Priyanka tweeted “Woke up this morning to an amazing piece of fiction… a news story that says my role in Kunal’s film is similar to that of ‘Heroine’…. She further clarified the rumour by messaging Kunal Kohli and saying,Ours is a love story… where is the connect? What say @kunalkohli?.”

Priyanka Chopra was disappointed with the fact that she was being compared to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan…

Priyanka further wrote, “I don’t appreciate being used to create unwarranted controversy with baseless information… unacceptable!..What a fertile imagination!!! There was no verification made with anyone before they made this resounding conclusion….”

Hegde added, “Bipasha sports a fringe, gypsy hoops and zippered dress. The fringe was Bipasha’s idea. She fell in love with the song instantly and wanted a look that was different from anything you’ve seen on screen before. She looks like a rockstar!

Priyanka’s also in black, but her look is more Beyonce and her ‘attitude’ inherent to her is on show.”

After a break in Los Angeles, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is heading back home to celebrate her 29th birthday with her family, post the Mumbai blasts.

“Heading home..LA’s been amazing…but looking forward to seeing my family… my dad n my brother esp with everything that’s happening wanna b home (sic),” Priyanka posted on her Twitter page.

She flew to Los Angeles straight from the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) weekend and awards ceremony in Toronto last month.

The National Award winning actress has a lot to look forward to this year. She has a line-up of films, including “Don 2: The Chase Continues”, the “Agneepath” remake, “Barfee”, “Krrish 2″ and Kunal Kohli’s next with Shahid Kapoor.

Priyanka has also signed up for a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s mega-budget “RA.One”. She seems to be on a roll!

 It is learnt that superstar Shah Rkh Khan gifted an expensive guitar to Priyanka Chopra on her birthday.
Priyanka who turned 29 on Monday July 18 had been recently shooting for 'Ra One' with Shah Rukh and Sanjay Dutt.
Speaking about her excitement on recieving gifts, she said that she loved recieving and giving gifts. Her mother too is supposed to have showered her with pre-birthday present when they were holidaying in Los Angeles.
When asked about her partying plans on her birthday, the bombshell stated that she didn’t like throwing parties instead she preferred someone else to organize bashes for her.
